What home means to me

What home means to me. Written by Faridat Jimoh. _______________________________________________________ To me, a home is a place where everything happens including one of your saddest moments and one of your happiest. Home is also a place where you feel the most comfortable at, a place where you have peace and quiet, you might be alone or you might be with someone. But sometimes a home is not always building, home could be a person or a thing, the reason why I think that is because not all homes are always perfect and some people feel like their home isn't home, so home for some people could be a person. I never really thought about the meaning of home, but now I come to realize that home could mean a million things. Home is a safe place and a comfort zone, home is a place we live in with our family and maybe friends, where half of your memories are made and a place where you can truly just be yourself. Home is not a place, it's a feeling. And that feeling is happiness and comfort. Something that makes a home a home is when there's laughter and happiness all around you. Home is a place where you would always be surrounded by the people who you really love and who really love you. A home will be filled with laughter and joy all the time. A home is way more than what you think, it's where all your childhood memories are made and memories that stay with you forever and ever. Home is a place where I can cuddle up, eat and have great times with my family. That is what home means to me.
