Struggles of Homelessness

When I see a person that is homeless, I think about how they survive or eat and what they do. All I imagine is sleeping on the streets cold and hungry, but I know it's more than that. I know that homes are a big deal to many people. Without a home, life would be a struggle. But what are those struggles? I looked into it and found some things that are very harmful. Struggles of homelessness can cause suffering from hunger and starvation. Without food for seven weeks or a whole month could almost kill you from starvation. This is also a very good reason why we have food donations. That's why alot of people are very grateful for food. What's better than food is water. Everyone needs to be hydrated everyday. At least three cups a day will keep you hydrated and healthy. Now that many viruses are out and going around it's very likely that you would catch a virus out on the streets. Starving makes you weak and your immune system will be weak so it gives you a higher chance to get a virus and potentially die. The biggest issue and struggles of homelessness is people's mental health. Being stressed, living on the street and suffering from hunger can affect a person’s mental health. This affects your emotions and social well being. This makes people more stressed out. This can also make someone have suicidal thoughts. It’s very important to have a good mental health. And furthermore, it would be great if everyone had a home and didn’t have to struggle and suffer these consequences. So many things happen when you don’t have a home. But still, this is not all of the struggles there's many more. These are just some of the struggles people face.
