The Meaning of Home

Home is the place that holds you through the storm called life. Home is the warmth that envelopes you like a hug at the end of a day, good or bad. Home is the place that overtakes you when you need a place to take off your mask and be yourself. The place and people that love you no matter what. The place and people who give you strength to do whatever you put your mind to. Home is the friends and family that laugh with you instead of at you. Home is the people that let you fall into their arms and cry. Home is the feeling you get when you feel loved and wanted. Home is the place where you feel like you matter. People say that home is where your heart is but it's so much more than that. Home is the love you receive and the love that you give. It's the memories that you create throughout your life, some good, some bad. The place that welcomes you through thick and thin. It can be interpreted in many ways, but this is the meaning of home for me.
