Why I’m Grateful for My House

I am grateful for my house because I have two kind families, my first family and my big sister’s boyfriend's family, I have a ton of adorable and hyper pets, my comfy living room, my huge backyard, and a loving community. Now I will tell you all about it! Firstly, I will talk about my two families. My first family involves my two sisters, and my parents. My sister who is older than me, Madison or Madi, for short, is a sister that likes pulling humorous and safe pranks on Cadence and I. She also is a pleasure to chat with. Now my only brother is one year younger than Madi, and isn't often home anymore due to his job that I don’t know what is. Although, when he visits our house, he is almost always spending time with my sister and me. He is also the best person that I know for telling great jokes. My mom is the kindest human I know so far. She is also a great dancer and dance teacher, which is her job also. When she isn’t working, she takes care of Cadence and I. She only works on Mondays, and Tuesdays I believe. Now my dad is who I will talk about next. He makes the main amount of money, and he, same as my mom, loves their job. His job is a welder, and he rarely is home. When he is home, I always lay in his and his mom’s bed. We love talking about our days, and playing board games. Now for Cadence, she is a hyper little sister. We sometimes fight, but at the end of the day, we end up having a blast playing together. Now, In my other family, I have one person in it I usually see. He is Keiron. He is very gentle and rarely mad. He also works at night, and plays sports. I don’t know what he does though. He also loves chess, and we play chess often. Now, I will talk about my four adorable pets; there is one dog and three puppies. I will talk from oldest to youngest. First dog is named Piper. She is a golden retriever, and is 4 years old. (I believe.) She is a loving dog. If a robber came, she would be protecting us until her fall, but if the robber says, “Hello puppy.” She would be like, “Hello hooman, want me to show you around?” Is what my mom says to describe her. If Piper wanted to chase me, she would be going at almost double the speed of me. Now for Franklen, the big black dog. He is the fastest dog I believe. My sister says that he was from a shelter. She also says he was abandoned twice. He also is terrified of guns way more than any other dog we own. Even toy guns. We also don’t know how old he is. Now Lilly is our next dog that we have. She seems to be stupid, but is actually the smartest dog we have found out. She just turned two years old, like the day before I wrote this. She also is a brown and white dog. She is also a small puppy. Now, the last dog I have is Luke. He is a very young poodle. He is a toy poodle, not a toy, but a breed called that. He has two nicknames, Yoshi is one, because he is like a yoshi from Mario. The other nickname is Nuke, because it rhymes with his name. Now, I will talk about my favorite room, the living room. It is a small room, but I love that room. It has two couches, one t.v. and a few stands, and a small table. The small table has two cupboards in it. One stores blankets, and the other one stores pillows for the couch, but hasn’t been used often lately. I also get to watch almost any movie I want to watch in the living room. It almost always has a blanket to get snuggled up in. The thing I will talk about next is My huge yard. I like my yard because first off, it is a huge space for what I know of! It has one dog-house, full with stuff that aren’t dogs. We also got a shed there. This may be surprising or not, but I got two big trampolines. I also have a fun swing set. The swing set is my favorite thing there! The last thing I got was a small playhouse. My dad bought it online and built it for Cadence and me. Sadly, I don’t use them in winter, but that is ok. Something cool is when the swings were placed in there, I immediately went and used them after school until winter. The last thing I am going to talk about is my community. In my community, we have a few schools, the one I go to is a religious school and we learn a lot about god. Then, there is a school that if I were to guess, is a public school. We will also have a “Freson Bros” which is a pretty big one. My family gets most of our groceries there, and they have my favorite chicken drumsticks EVER! You must try the drumsticks if you have never tried it before. It isn’t frozen chicken drumsticks, it is already cooked and served at the cafeteria.
