Grateful for My Home

I am grateful for my home because of my family there, my pets, my room, my yard, and my community. Now I am going to tell you all about it! I have four people in my family including me. Me, my mom, my dad, and my brother. I pretty much play with my brother every single day because then he wouldn't stop asking. Most of the time I have fun though. I help my mom with stuff like shopping, and cleaning. On Sunday I cleaned out the whole entire pantry and organized it too! It was fun and I don't even know why. The things I do with my dad are like going on quad rides or skidooing and playing games. I basically have like 5 pets if you include Ranger which stays at my house and my kookums house. Ranger is a dog by the way. I have 2 cats named Poppy and Oliver. Oliver is a boy and Poppy is a girl. I pretty much have 2 dogs. One is named Chevy and the other one is named Benjamin. Benjamin used to be at my kookums house all the time but now he stays at our house all the time. My favorite room has to be my room. For one reason is because it has really all the stuff I need like my phone, my ipad, my chargers, my computer, my bed, my art supplies, my mini-fridge, and so on. I love my room because I have these curtains that keep out all the light and my light is like yellow so it gives cozy vibes. I still want a new light though. My bed is also super comfy and I always have a good sleep. I think everybody in my house is jealous of my bed! I also have a hoverboard but that stays in the kitchen/living room. I will come out to eat and stuff but most of the time i'm in my room. My mom says its my “DaRk cAvE.” My yard is pretty big so I have a lot of room to do stuff. In the winter, my brother and I use our mini ski-doo. It's not like those cheap ski-doo sleds, it's an actual machine. My dad usually has to make a trail with his ski-doo because the ski-doo will get stuck from the sticky, deep snow. In the spring, we go on quad rides. Sometimes if my cousin Tyra we will take turns driving a quad. We usually go around my yard and into the forest in the back, then to my kookums horse pen, ( I don't know what it's called) and back to my house. In the summer we have water balloon fights and water gun fights as well. Sometimes we may even go on our slip in slide but the water is always cold. It's still fun though! I really don't know what my community is but I'll just write about High Prairie since I’m pretty much always there. So in H.P I like how there's public swimming and skating because those are the two things I love. I also love how there's so many places to get food from! My favorite places are probably Circle K or Burger Baron. I LOVE Burger Baron’s donairs! I also REALLY like the slushies at Circle K and their pizza! There’s also a lot of parks in HP. My favorites are probably Elementary park and St. Andrews park. There’s the fair in HP too when it's June and the parade! I LOVE the parade and when I went last year I went with my cousins so it was extra fun! We got to go in a group alone and go ride on rides that we all agreed on. The only thing I wish I did there was get a candy apple because that's like the only time I get to get a candy apple. My favorite rides had to be the Himalaya and the Yoyo. The other rides were REALLY fun as well. That is why I am grateful for my home. Why are you grateful for your home?
