The Comfort of Home

The smell of good food, and woody scents from the yard, they all mix and swirl. Soft chairs, fluffy rugs, hardwood floor, furry cat, rough tan lines the walls. Fresh fruit, and baked goods, breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner, some water or juice. Footsteps down the stairs, people talking and laughing, the cat is mewing. Black couches, dark floors, light shines in through the windows, pale white roof and doors.
