What Home is to me...

Home is the place where I snuggle up between my family on the couch, the smell of popcorn lingering in the air and the sound of crunching as we eat popcorn and watch movies on late weekend nights. Home is the place you feel welcome and accepted no matter what or who you are. Home is the people you love most and it is with you wherever you go. Home is where the sounds, unfamiliar to everyone else, become comforting as you drift off to sleep. Home where you are free to be who you are and do what you love When I come home from school I feel like I won the lottery because just entering my home makes me feel warm inside. As Odin from Thor: Ragnarok once said, “Asgard is not a place it is a people.” It is the same with a home: a home is not a place it is the people you love and feel safe with. Home is forever yet a house is temporary H-Home is where the heart is O-Otherwise it is just a house M-Making memories that stay forever E-Every day and night I’m entering this contest not for myself but for my community and the people in need.
