My Home

Home is special. It will never leave you, no matter where you are with your family. My house is filled with my mom and dad, my sisters Saige and Kallie, and my dog Larry. My house is made of chipped brick, wood floors and cement. But, my home on the other hand is made out of memories of baking my favorite cherry cookies with my Mom, or watching an action packed movie and eating BBQ chips with a lime crush pop. A home and house have one thing in common: they are not perfect no matter what way you look at it. I know that there are over 235,000 people that are homeless and Habitat for Humanity is trying to help stop homelessness. I know I'm lucky that I have a home and a house plus people who care about me. “There is no place like home.”
