Home

Home is my favorite place to be. Home is where I go to relax; I might grab a book to read on the couch, or go play with my lego. Home is where I know I can feel safe and just be myself. At home, I am loved for who I am, regardless of if I’m having a good day or bad day. I can be happy or grumpy and it’s ok because I’m home with my family. I like to come home and put my pajamas on if I know we aren’t going anywhere that evening. I like to play games at home, especially some of my favorite card games and my family plays them with me often. Our home has lots of laughter, especially when my mom wakes me up with my stuffies tickling me. My favorite smell that I think of when talking about home is deer steak. It smells so good. Home is being loved. At home, my mom or dad will always give me a hug if I need one. I can be silly and create a funny place for my family. I like my backyard as it has lots of room for me to run around and play soccer, a net for practicing shots and my trampoline to bounce on. My home is where I have lived most of my life and I don’t remember anywhere else. I hope my parents never move so my home remains the exact same place for me to return to when I grow up.
