The Famous Giver

Once upon a time there was a great giver named Joey. Joey donated $300 to Charity every week. Joey also loved to play the lottery. One day after donating his $300, Joey bought a lottery ticket and it turned out that Joey won $10,000,000 from the lottery because he got all six numbers! Afterwards, Joey gave the biggest donation ever! He donated all $10,000,000 to Habitat for Humanity so homeless people could afford a home! The first homeless person that received a home from Habitat for Humanity said, “My favourite thing in this home is my TV I touch the smooth remote, I see the colourful screen, I taste the buttery flavour of popcorn, I smell the wonderful smell of the popcorn, and I hear the interesting sound of characters talking. The second homeless person who received a house from Habitat for Humanity said, “Do you know the difference between a house and a home? A house is just a structure, with no love, but a home is a place full of love, full of family and a home is a place with happiness. The third and final person that received a house from Habitat for Humanity said, “I'm very, very thankful for this wonderful day and money. You are the best giver ever.” Joey was now super happy because the world now had three less homeless people. He was forever known as the famous giver!
