Home

What is home? Home is when I feel comfortable about where I am, what I am, and who I am. Home is where all my memories are kept safe. Home is a place, no matter where it is or what it is, I can be myself. Home has a feeling of protection and has the sound of laughter. It has the things I love most like my parents, brother and closest friends, or my bedroom and my blanket. Sometimes people don’t have anywhere to call home. They might have a house but it’s just not a home. Fortunately, Habitat For Humanity is helping people in need to get a place of their own to call home and is going to change the challenge of unhoused people in Canada.
