My Safe Space

The meaning of home to me is a feeling of excitement and happiness like when I first moved into my house. I felt safe. I always loved the smell of my home, it smelled like wood. When I first went into my house I would say I felt euphoria. For people that dont know what that means it is a feeling of intense excitement and happiness. A home to me is a place where you can share your feelings and not be ashamed to cry or be sad or to share your feelings. When I go home I know I am loved and cared for. Home is the only place where I am fully happy. I love the smell of the fireplace and the smell of the clean sheets on my bed. Home is the best place to be when you are feeling confused, sad or angry. When I am home I feel like the best person on earth all the time. I feel lucky to be in a home so amazing because some people don’t have such a loving home like me,or some people don't feel safe in their homes. I feel that my home is the best thing on earth. To me it is a place where you see people you love talk to about things you don't want to talk about outside of home. It's a place where you can feel excited to go back to, a place where you feel like you are in the most guarded place in the world. Home is a place where you can feel safe. That is what home means to me.
