Meaning of Home

Home is where I have my own identity, thoughts and opinion. Home is Mine.Home is my shield and I am the protector of this shield. The only key to this shield is my heart. My home is where I keep and feel safe. I am treated equally amidst all my family and friends. My home is my place and my place can only be called mine when I feel safe and secure. Home is safe. Home to me is the comfort in me. I can smell the strong spices mixing in the curry with love and time. I always taste the Indian ”thatka” (essence) in whatever I am lovingly fed. No matter what, me and my presence are always respected. In my life I've only seen my family doing the best they can to make sure in the sunrise or sunset our home and our family stay safe. At my home there is no judgment or accusation because there everyone is accepted for who and what they are. Home accepts you unlike any other place. Family stays and saves. With one touch of my grandparents hand all the blessings come to me and my blessing goes to my home to make sure it’s safe no matter what.
