Home Sweet Home

For me home feels safe and warm. It's a place where I can feel loved by people who understand me. I feel so happy to help someone able to afford a home, I really hope this helps many people afford a home. This morning I woke up freezing but i can't imagine how cold people without a home feel, I'm so grateful to have a roof over my head food on the table and a nice soft bed to sleep in some people can't get any of that so i thank everyone who is incharge of habitat for humanity for doing this because every single kid entering this contest could change someone's life. I can't imagine life without having a home. My neighborhood isn't the best but my mom still teaches me to be a nice kid. Home wouldn't be home without her, some people don’t get half the stuff I get. But I have more than just one home. My second is basketball. There's just something about basketball that makes me so attached to it. Maybe it's when those brand new shoes squeak on the basketball court. Or it could be the net swishing when I shoot a shot, maybe even the ball pounding on the ground. There's nothing that calms me down more than that basketball will forever be my second home.
