What is Home?

Home is much more than just a big brick square. Home can vary from person to person but to me home is more than a place, it's where you feel special and free. It doesn't need to be a set place because home follows you where you want it to be. Your home is filled with your favourite things, loved one’s, friends but what really makes it your home is the fact you feel safe. There is so much stress in life but at home you feel a sense of happiness that makes your troubles float away. Don’t think you're leaving your home behind if you were to move because your home can be anywhere as long as it's special to you. It might be where you grew up or it may be where you currently reside because if the place really means something to you anywhere can be your home. Even if somebody doesn't have a physical place to live they can also still have a home, but unfortunately a lot of them don’t. It's hard to have a home when you have no place to go but no matter who you are, you can always find a home by working hard and meeting new people. Whether it be from habitat for humanity or a job I think the point of learning what the meaning of home is means something deeper than a place where you feel happy. The term home is so much more than just that and is different for everyone but if you persevere through whatever you're going through you will always be able to find a home.
