What home means to me

To me home is where my loved ones are. Home is where I feel like I can be myself. Home is where I feel like I can be open and honest. Home is somewhere I wont feel like my opinion doesn't matter. Home is somewhere where I'm loved and filled with joy. Home is not just a structure that you live in, it is wherever you and your family are. I know that home is where my family is because when I'm with my family I feel like I'm safe and where I'm meant to be.When I am with my family I feel like I can be myself because I know that they won't judge me. I know I can be honest because I know that my family is forgiving if I make mistakes. I know that my family will listen to my opinion because we all have respect for each other. I know that home is where I am loved because my family shows me love and kindness. Home is a place where you should not be pressured to be someone you're not. Home is somewhere you just kind of know you’re home. You can tell your loved. Home is somewhere you have your family. Home is also somewhere you make memories with your loved ones. Home is the is not just a place with a roof and doors. Home is a place that you’re going to look back at as a grown up and remember all the good memories you made. Home is the structure that made us home is a safe place you can go to just get away from it all. When the dictionary says home is a building it’s only half true because home is where you and your family goes because family is your true home. As an example if you were in a family that constantly moves home because your mom or dad are in the military. You will still be home because you are with your family. No matter where you are as long as your loved ones are with you. You are still with what you know and love, home. So in conclusion as the paragraphs above state, my family “my home” is one of the most important things ever. To me family is a safe place where you can go when you are lonely or just need a good laugh. So wherever you are just remember that you will always be home because your family will always be in your heart.
