Habitat for Humanity

Home is a place I belong to, a happy place. What home smells like? Home smells like metal from the monkey bars, globe, swings, slides, the smell of grandma's homemade cookies, and pies. How do I feel at home? I feel a warm sensation like you're sitting by a fire with a big glass of chocolate milk warming up after being outside. It is a place where I feel protected from the evil of the world. A peaceful place protected from the loud noise and judgment. How would an unsafe home feel? An unsafe home feels like you're always getting judged and you have nowhere to get away and have some peace, no freedom and no warm feeling. Home is a place I will always return to.
