Meaning of Home

I think everyone deserves a home where they can feel safe, cared for, calm, respected, somewhere they don’t feel afraid, and most importantly, somewhere they feel loved so that they really know how important they are. I think everyone deserves a home where they can feel the warmth of a fluffy blanket wrapped around them on the couch and the comfort of a soft bed. I think everyone deserves a home where they can smell pizza straight from the oven and, when you take a deep breath, you can smell the vanilla bean candle. I think everyone deserves a home where they can have a delicious chocolate chip cookie for a treat. I think everyone deserves a home where they can hear their family laughing at a joke and hear country music playing all the way from outside. I think everyone deserves a home where they can be with their family, have a solid roof above their head, food on their table, and most importantly, a place they can call their own.
