What Home Should Feel Like

What home means. Home is a place where you feel safe, home is where your welcome, I’m going to share some of my memories with you! Most of my memories are with family, I have this memory when we went to Kenora, Kenora is a beach that is two hours away from Winnipeg, me, my family, and my friends all went there. We went swimming in the sea, it was so fun! There was this bouncy castle, we had to wear life jackets even for the adults, it was very slippery, and I jumped off on the edge, I was high up! Not everyone gets to do these things and I was grateful but let me tell you a secret, I fight with my family sometimes, yeah! Not everybody is perfect, home is where you’re free. Home is cozy, comfortable, and safe. There is a lot of love in your home, the best part about it is smelling the goodness gracious food that your parents make, and there is lots and lots of joy in your home. I remember when my mom let me and my brother decorate a cake, me and my brother put yogurt instead of frosting to prank our family, since yogurt is thinner than frosting, we made sure to put A LOT, and we gave it to my parents and sister. My parents thought we mixed it up and pretended that it was good, but my sister was straight up honest and said “IS THIS YOGURT!?!?” Then my sister and dad chased us and tickled us! After we went to build an igloo but then my brother jumped on it and we started to snowball fight. Home has more meaning than house thank you!
