Home And What It Means To Me

Home is not about your house, it's about all the people in that house that makes you happy. Happiness is home for me! As soon as I go home I instantly see my Mom. I see my dad watching TV on the grey couch. At home, I see my brother’s wrestling in the living room, on the light grey carpet. I see my bed in the basement in my room. It is really cold in the basement. I hear my neighbours black dog barking in their backyard. I hear my brothers watching television in the living room. I hear the pots and pans clinking in the kitchen. My mom’s banana bread tastes so good. I also taste freshly made waffles with lots & lots of syrup. The chocolate chip muffins she makes are so gooey and good. I feel the couch it is so cozy and soft. Also I feel the grass outside in the backyard. it feels so soft and nice. It is very green in the summer and it makes me very happy. Another thing I feel is my Nintendo Switch controller, it really makes me feel at home because the music on the games I play make me happy. I smell hockey pucks in my home. The hockey pucks smell like rubber & that reminds me of my home. Another thing I smell is banana bread being made in the oven. Only my mom can make it smell so good. I smell the flowers in the kitchen on the black table in the centre of the kitchen. When I am home, I feel cozy, safe and loved! That's what home means to me.
