Home is the best place to be

When I am at home, I feel safe, welcomed, and loved. Home is a place where I can be myself. I pray to have food on the table every night and every morning. Home is a place where there are people to help motivate me to never give up and keep trying. I am always nice to people because in my community we are all family, and we help everyone. I am incredibly lucky to have all the stuff I have, and I could not ask for more. I have respect for everyone in my home. If someone’s mental health in my home is not the best, I listen to them or do something they love or sometimes I tell them to take a break. When I am at home and look through the window, I see nature, unlike in town where it’s all roads, sidewalks, buildings and cars everywhere and it’s beautiful. If I ever had to move, I would be very upset because I wouldn’t get see friends and family. Home is a place where I can get everything off my chest and just relax. If I didn’t have a home, I would have to sleep on the street every night and I wouldn’t have anything to eat. I can’t imagine not having a home. I am so thankful that I have a home and food. Home is a place where I can tell people my emotions and do stuff that I love. I have very nice parents who get me a lot of stuff like dogs, dirt bikes, four wheelers, cats and lots more. I am thankful that I have lots of electronics and lots of toys. When my brother died, I was so sad so I put a huge picture on my wall of him so every time I’m in my room I can think about him. That is what home means to me.
