My home in Canada is like no other With happy faces and smiles The smell of waffles with maple syrup poured all over them in my kitchen My home in Canada feels so safe With family and friends so close to one another Safe from the bad and with the ones you love My home in Canada sounds so nice With the sound of the mourning doves chirping And at night the sound of the crickets calling for each other My home in Canada looks so beautiful With the trees, flowers, and animals all in the forest At night, the sight of the mountains is so calming My home in Canada has slouch tasty food With the taste of beaver tails in my mouth The dishes food that my mother makes is the best taste that I ever tasted I thank Habitat for Humanity for all the beautiful homes for people that need one. I’m happy to do this for Habitat for Humanity to help and hope to make a difference in this world.
