Everyone Needs a Home

What is a home? A house is made of things, a home is made of love, my sister begging me to play with her. A home is the smell of my mom's cake baking in the oven, a house is the smell of cement and paint. Home is the flashing color of my brother's led lights. A house is the color of my red bricked house with green and white doors. A home is the feeling of warmth and love a house is the feeling of safety. A home can keep me safe from feeling alone, a house can keep me safe from any storm. A house is my address, a home is the day I was born. It makes me sad that some don’t have a home. Having a house is crucial but having a home is what helps people grow to be stars and what they are now. I really hope that some lucky person will get a house that is also a home from this contest.
