A home

A home A house is a building made from bricks or stone Like humans who are made from bone A house has walls and flooring It is pretty boring But as soon as there is a family inside Everything changes in a landslide The home is filled with homey things Soon the lights are turned on it is so bright it stings The house is still a house on the outside Now it is a home on inside The home has friends and family In the front yard there is a big oak tree There is a bed with a big fluffy pillow And on the wall there is a picture of a willow In 1 of the rooms there is a ton of toys Also a sign that says “ NO BOYS” The living room is cozy and warm It is nice to sit there when there is a storm To me a house is where you are safe But home is where my heart stays And my home is family lives Habitat for humanity is a great idea For more people to have homes like mine
