The Meaning of Home

Home is where you feel welcome and happy. A home is not about the size or how it looks. For me, home is the memories inside the walls and the happiness. The most important thing is the people who helped make the memories. What I call home is when my dad helps me when I am sick, my Guinea pig cuddles me when I am sad, and my dog gives me affection when I get hurt. The little things are what makes it home. When my dad makes himself a sandwich, he always gives me half. When I come home my dog runs to the door and jumps on me and my dad and gives us kisses. Home is the people that you love. My home is where I want to be. Habitat for Humanity is awesome because everybody deserves a safe home.
