What home means to me

Homes can give us light And food and water for all our might They can give us a place To live and grow with all our grace You live in a home with a loving family And you are all thankful there happily Sometimes you may feel like giving up But your home always cheers you up People who are homeless may not have homes But always have hope throughout their bones Sometimes they might feel like leaving it behind But always have a thoughtful mind To me home means sitting around a fire And playing with your family until you tire It could also be with a pet Or making memories you’ll never forget Family helps us light the fire inside And learn more people worldwide Homes could have a different effect to everyone And yours could be better or worse than some Homes give us energy to live And they also give energy to thrive I hope Habitat For Humanity Will make people homes for centuries to be.
