Home

Home is a place to have fun. Home is what makes you feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. A place you go after a long day of work or a long day of school to relax and rest because you feel a sense of safety at home. A long night’s sleep at your friend’s house doesn’t compare to a long night’s sleep at your own home because you feel safe at your home A home is a shelter to keep you warm on the coldest day of the year. If you didn’t have a home, you would be cold every night. Some people take a home for granted, but when you step back to see the full picture you are so lucky to have a home because so many people do not have a home. Many people wish they had somewhere to live and somewhere to feel warm. At your home it’s a place where you make memories. When you look back on your childhood home you start to remember all the memories you made there and maybe you will remember something you forgot and sometimes it almost wants to make you cry. Not only the people you live with are family, the people on your street or block are also family because you also grew up with them and make memories with your neighbours. Some people love their home so much they get sick from being away from it too long, and I don’t blame them. Some people know how lucky they are you have a home, a place to be safe from the weather because the people who don’t have a home have to sleep in a tents or in a big warehouse with other people, or even on the sidewalks with cars driving by and people judge them because that’s where you live, and they think that you made so many wrong decisions but really, they can’t afford a home. Home is a place to learn, grow and have fun. No house is a home until you live in it.
