Meaning Of Home

Home reminds me of a place for spending time with family. A place to relax and feel safe and protected. Home is a loving place that you can shower, sleep and eat in. Home is a shelter from rain and storms. Home is a place you can decorate to express your feelings. Every home is unique. Some are decorated to be simple and not too extreme while others are really detailed and fancy. Some have a pool or some sort of swing. Most homes are different shapes and sizes. Some are blue, some are green. They can come in a lot of different colours. One time, my mom kept giving a lollipop and I would aggressively give it back. When I first got my dog, I would hide his toys after this one time when he ripped a panda stuffed toy into pieces. I would always hide from him when I’m playing fetch with him. I remember when I moved to a town called Gillam, I didn’t know anyone. I felt lonely. It didn’t feel like home. Throughout the months, I made new friends and slowly got more comfortable living there. Home is full of love, joy, laughter and memories.
