Home vs. House

Home vs house - a home is a place you feel safe, loved, cared for - a place that you feel belong. A house is a structure that has walls a roof and doors. A home doesn’t have to be you living with your parents, it can be with your grandparents, your uncle or your aunt, etc. A home doesn’t have to be with your family at all, a home is wherever you feel safe and loved. A house is a structured building that anyone can live in and doesn’t really make you feel safe, loved and cared for. You could have a home anywhere; your home can be in a tent with someone that makes you feel safe and loved. A home can be by yourself it doesn’t have to be with anyone as long as you feel like you’re your own person no matter who you are, where you are, or who you’re with. A house is a building, a house is something from not getting you hurt or homeless. You need a house with a roof over your head, you can have a roof over your head anywhere, but you might not feel safe and loved and cared for. A home is love, a home is safety, a home is anything that you need it to be as long as you know that you’re happy to be where you are. A home is full of colour while a house is in black and white. A home and a house are different.
