Why Home is Important

Why Home is Important? Home is wherever my family moves to. The place where my family huddled together to celebrate a birthday. Home is where I belong. Home is the feeling of love, the flutter in your chest when you're around the people you enjoy. The enduring presence of my family and friends makes me feel more and more at home. Home is looking outside to see my family talking to friendly neighbours as they give us freshly baked cookies for school fundraisers. Love is never ending. The more you're with people you appreciate, the more you feel at home. My home is filled with the aroma of my mom’s chicken pot pie we eat every other Monday. Home is something you build with people. The memories you make within those walls with family or people you love. Home is smelling the fresh breeze pushing against my sister's faces and mine as we settle our faces against the window sill, looking up at the stars before bed. I love my home because of the people in it. I'm very grateful for my family and how their kind words always fill my heart with joy. Every home has at least one special element. For my home the special element is love. We love each other equally. The greatest thing of all is the feeling in your heart telling you your home isn't just a house anymore. This is my home and why it's important to me And why my home is such a comfort to me. Love fills my home wherever I go.
