My Wonderful Home

My Wonderful Home Home is a very important and special word that means something different to different people. Home is the feelings of a person and the experiences that that person has experienced whether they’re bad things or good things. This is what the word home means to me. I have two houses which means I kinda have two homes. When I was nine years old I got to live in two homes but now I’m eleven so I’ve gotten used to it. My mother’s home is the smell of the cookies my mother and I baked just coming out of the oven. My mother’s home is all the memories of us moving in and watching movies while snuggled up on the comfy couch. My dad’s home is all of the memories of my family having an amazing time and growing up together. Home is my brother playing his loud and annoying trombone while I’m trying to sleep. My dad’s home is when my brother and I are playing video games all night long. My dad’s home is when my dad picks me up from school and when he asks about my day. I’m very grateful for all the possessions I have. When I think I don’t have that much, I think of what I have compared to other people. I think of things like the fact I have a roof over my head and that I have a comfortable bed instead of sleeping on the hard ground or a disgusting bench in a park or something. That is what the word home means to me. I hope some people have the same feeling of happiness, joy, and love when they think about their home. I also wish that everyone could have the same privilege to say that they have a home of their own.
