What Home Means to Me

Home is where you spend time with family, siblings, and pets. When I am at home it feels so colourful and full of life, but when I am at a house it has no life or colour – it’s lifeless. Home feels like hot chocolate on a cold and snowy night. Home is having a warm, cozy, and safe place to go to after an exhausting day. You feel loved in your home and love the people around you. Every Saturday I have a movie marathon and before that we go to the store and buy all the junk food we can. A home is where you have privacy, somewhere safe and secure, where you can snuggle up in bed and don’t have to worry about anything else. Home is the safest place to be.
