The Meaning of Home

What home means to me is a safe place to live and to be heard and to trust your family and friends.from the moment i wake up I feel the cozy warmth of my bed and i feel my dog licking me to wake up.I hear the laughter of my family in the kitchen and I also hear bacon sizzling in the pan .When I walk through the kitchen door I smell the sweet smell of waffles straight out of the toaster.and I feel the warmth of my dad hugging me.I then walk to the kitchen table to eat breakfast.my mom brings me my plate and I see bacon,waffles and fruit and I also see a big cup of orange juice.I see my sister asking my mom for the whipped cream and my mom passes her the whipped cream she reaches across the table and makes a pile of whipped cream on my waffle I go to my room after breakfast to get dressed in my warm and cozy pants and shirt them I go to the kitchen again to go and get a clean glass of water then I take a big gulp of water .Then I realized it was a saturday and I walk to the washroom to brush my teeth and hair.Then I went to my room to go back to go back to bed because it was a saturday.Then like 17 minutes later my sister woke me up for lunch and said’’we are going to have macaroni and cheese for lunch’’ I walked through the door.I smelled melting cheese in the pot and I heard the noodles boiling in the scolding hot water.When i walked by the pot a drop of scolding hot water spewed at me and it was so hot. Then I heard the fireplace turn on downstairs and I grabbed a chair and put it in front of the fireplace and sat in the chair. The fireplace was so warm and cozy it made me fall asleep. Then I saw Lexi out the window and she waved her hand.i waved my hand too.then lexi started to walk towards my home.she rang the door bell.i rushed to the door to open it she asked to come in.i runed to ask my parents and they said yes!!! She then asked me what the meaning of home is.i said,’’it is all about family you live with.a home has all the things you love and the stuff you growed up with and the stuff you cherish.a house is just a building with 4 walls and a roof.your home has clean water,food,bed and most important feeling loved.’’ Lexi left my home.It was dinner time already. I smelled noodles,cooked carrots and it was more delicious than it smelled.
