The Meaning of a Home

The meaning of a home is a safe place, a place you can be free. When I come into my home, I am already filled with love. It is a feeling everyone should have. If I had no roof I would be soaked in the rain, if I had no walls I would be cold in the wind, but if I had no family I would be alone. If I lived on the streets without a house to call my own, I would weep, I would moan. I would travel, I would roam, but with my family by my side, I would always be home. Everyone should have a home, a place to be safe, a bed to sleep on, a shoulder to weep on, and a family to lean on. Even in their darkest days with a home and a family, sadness can go away. That is why Habitat for Humanity is amazing! It gives the homes some people are craving. All of the people, homeless and grieving, can now have a house again, no longer heaving.
