Why I Love My Home

My family makes my home special. My family is what I love most because they are the nicest people I’ve ever met. They make me feel loved, happy and safe. Every New Year’s Eve my mom makes lasagna, and we all sit at the table and eat. A couple years ago my whole family stayed up and watched the ball drop, usually its just my mom and I. Every year my family goes to a family Christmas party where we play games and have fun. My pets are another thing that makes home feel like home. They are comforting, snuggly and they make me feel loved. Pets make me feel protected and safe. When I come home from school, I get to see my new cat Smokey. He makes me feel calm and happy. My home makes me feel like somebody just gave me a warm hug. In my home I feel safe, protected, loved, comforted, joy and so much more. My home makes me feel happy too. I feel safe when I’m at home. My parents also make me feel safe. I love my home and family.
