Home

Home. Home is where you sit with your family to watch TV under a cozy, warm blanket. Home is the smell of warm, baked chocolate chip cookies with a side of hot chocolate on a cold winter morning. Home is laying on green grass, racing to the park, playing “Truth or Dare”, yelling “I’m Crazy!” on the road for no reason. Making promises with friends to meet each other on the beach when we’re older, going swimming in the pool even though it’s raining. Home is even saying “Hellos” and “Goodbyes”. A Home is where you feel loved and surrounded by your family. Home is where you make memories with the ones you love. When I think of Home, I get this feeling of coziness and warmth. I feel joyful and happy. I feel loved. I am grateful for all the care and joy my Home brings me, and I want other people to feel that too. Habitat for Humanity is important because some people around the globe live in poverty and have no place to call home. If it wasn't for Habitat for Humanity, a lot and a lot and A LOT of people wouldn't have a place to call home. Habitat for Humanity has a global impact and Habitat for Humanity can help nearly 70 different countries and people will finally have somewhere to call home.
