Meaning of Home to Me

I’m not a big fan of amusement parks, but the ups and downs with my family is just perfect. In my family, there’s my mom, dad and brother. There aren’t a lot of members, but it’s enough. My mom is the family’s best chef, because I always smell and taste the really delicious food at dinner. I usually get so hungry because of that, I can’t even focus! But for my dad, he’s the AI lover, which me and my brother personally love a lot. On the weekends, usually we get to watch T.V. earlier because my dad’s using the TV. There's also a 60% chance we get to play games on special days. Though, it’s not fun or enjoyable when my dad steals the T.V. from us! My brother is two years younger than me, but he’s very bossy and stubborn. We always argue, and that’s just the way it is. That is how our roller-coaster rolls. This is just part of what I call home, though. Something called home is not always a place to me. A home is part of your origin, safe, and cozy side of what makes me, “me”. My birthplace in Asia, I also call home. Where I live now in Burnaby would also be home. My home is a part of every single material combined into “me’. It is something that is unchangeable and colourful. It is my past, present, and future. My home is my belonging. Unlike houses, which are just places, a plain place of uncolourfulness, things you can change anytime that you don’t like. My home, no matter where I live, will always be the perfect amusement park fit for me.
