Home is comforting It is where you are free Home can be anything A person, place, or feeling It could be the sound of waves crashing against a rocky shore It could be the feeling of relaxation after a hard day It could be the touch of your pet’s fur It could be the sight of your friends coming to your house to play Or it could be the taste of homemade cake shared with your loved ones Home to me is the words on a book when I cozy up under my covers It is the endless love and care my family radiates Home is the look of snow gently falling, promising a good day I am grateful that I have a home I believe everyone should have a home They need it They deserve it That is why I think Habitat For Humanity is an awesome program They make homes for people that can’t afford it and require it The difference between a home and a house is up to you The difference in my eyes is that a house is just a structure and a home is way more than that It is a feeling, a sight, a taste, a touch and a sound to me What is it to you? It means everything to me
