What Home Means to Me

I would like to acknowledge my appreciation for Habitat for Humanity’s life changing corporation before I start. A home can mean many different things to different people. To me home means family and shelter. I don't care where or what it is ,it could be a tent in the middle of the forest or a strong structure with a kitchen . My family loves me. We have a great house and food but some people don't. We have a family of four. Home also means shelter somewhere safe and cozy. Habitat for Humanity can give you a safe home to live in. Family means everything. They love and care for you. How many family members do you have? Maybe you have three siblings or one or none . Maybe you have two mom’s. Family is an amazing privilege from baking with my grandma and my aunt to crafting and creating with my dad Pets are another thing that make home home. From tropical birds to polar bears or an endangered species of any sort. You could have a cat or dog to be more realistic. They’re perfect for if you come home from a tiring and busy day to just cuddle them forever it reveals all your stress. Shelter keeps you dry when the rain falls and protected from hectic weather. Home is a great place to be safe if you take good care of it. Food is another form of home. I love to bake with my family. We love baking all sorts of traditional food from old recipes on every occasion. That is what home means to me.
