Meaning of a home

“What does a home mean to you?” People always ask me when I walk by, so now I must think and tinker with my brain. I thought and thought the same question “What does a home mean to you?” But then I thought I was saying it wrong. It should be “How does a home make you feel?” I thought some more, and I got it! My pets are my home. So, then I thought about my dog, my cat, my lizard, and my fish. I remember when me and my dog went for walks and smelled the flowers and grass. I remember when my cat snuggles on my bed while I am sleeping and is always waiting for me on the bathroom floor when I wake. I remember me and my family would sit on the living room carpet and my lizard would run to us. I remember my fish would always swim happily when I approached him and fed him. To me, my home is my pets.
