What is Home? By Nicholas Diep (Grade 6 -Stonehaven Elementary School)

What do you think is home? Is it a place you like? Where you live? Or is it who you're with? For me home is where my family is. I’ll tell you why. If you have the largest mansion ever and you're alone. It doesn’t feel like home. It’s empty! Nothing happens, no one to play or talk to. Although you have basically everyone's dream house, you are alone. It doesn’t feel like home. If you have a small home or not a wealthy home, but your family is there. It will feel like home even though it's small. You have the people that make you laugh and be happy. With your family anywhere can be home. It’s cozy and lively in any place with your family. For example my house is not the largest or smallest. I still enjoy it because my family is with me. They give me hope, help and support me. That’s what I think is home. It is truly home anywhere with your family no matter what size or place. All home is, is a place where the people you love are. I personally don’t care what size of the house or where the location is. Home is with my family! That’s what home is!
