The Meaning of Home

Home. Home is like a relaxing place after a long day at school. Home is a place of safety, everyone should feel safe in their home. Home. Home is a feeling everyone should be able to share, home can be anywhere for anyone, and everyone. Home. Home is where you bring friends over to play, where you can all scream at each other as you try to beat one another in a game. Home. Home is where you can eat fresh homemade cookies right out the oven, and while you eat, your pet is waiting patiently for some. Home. Home is when you walk through the door and your dogs come running to greet you, and you feel like you may just fall right onto the floor. Home. Home is where you can cuddle up on your couch with your dogs,a warm fire going, a fuzzy blanket, and watch a movie. Home. Home is a place that starts out bland and empty, but you are able to fill it up and design it to your liking. Home. Home is a place where you can turn on a hot bath after returning from work, school or any outdoor activity and enjoy the break you deserve. Home. Home is a place where you can brew up some hot cocoa and sit by the fire watching your favourite show. Home. Home is a place where you create memories of all sorts, whether they're sad, happy, or just a memory, it will always stay with you. Home. Home is a place of love, peace, and harmony. It’s a place where you can be, where no one is able to judge you or talk bad about you. Home. This is what home means to me, and I hope everyone can share a similar feeling of home like this. I believe everyone should have a home, and that they deserve it.
