What home means to me

Home is a place where I relax and feel safe. Home is a place where I make friends, where I can feel free in my own house.Its a place where I see the sun setting into the horizon. Where I can see seagulls dancing in the trees. Where I feel free to walk on my sidewalk and look around to see all my friends and family. Where the dogs howl. Where I know any place or another. Home is where I eat ice cream with my sandals in the summer. In the fall, falling into the orange, red and yellow leaves. Winter is where I laugh and feel joy drinking hot chocolate and making snowmen. Spring is where I laugh and play in the wet puddles, where I plant flowers with my Mom. Where I feel the sun on my skin outside. Where I feel the love and comfort from all my friends and family. Where I sit by the fireplace laughing and feeling joy eating smores.Home is where I feel the sprinkles of the rain as I walk home from school. home is where cats roam free and dogs barking as loud as can be.Home is where I feel joy hanging out with my friends. Home is where I go to school and try my best to pass my tests. Home is where I had picnics with my friends. Home is where sad things may come but I know when I'm home things will always get better. Home is where I run free in the tall grass with my friends feeling joy. Home is where I bounce the volleyball to one friend or another. Home is where I feel joy making muffins and cupcakes with my mom. or feel excited with my dad learning how to create things. Home is where I make slushies with snow and feel the cold brain freeze and laugh about it with my friends. Home is where my friends and I run up and down the streets playing. Home is where I know I'm safe and well provided I always try to find happiness right where I am but home is my favorite.Though times are tough many places I know when I go home everyone will be there to help me. Home is where I can fantasize about the future and know that the friends I have now will be there until the end.Home is where when I close my eyes I know I'll have a whole new world of things happen to me tomorrow and my family will always be there with me.Home is where I wake up to the bright sunny skies and know everyone will be there. Home is where I know I'm safe, that's what home means to me.
