The Meaning of Home

A home to me is being warm and cozy curled up watching a movie with my family. While the smell of buttery popcorn fills the air. Home is a place to celebrate. Like New Year's we have family over the same for Christmas. When you hang out with family it makes a difference, it makes your house feel like a home. A home is a place to escape reality and be yourself. Sometimes you need to have some time to yourself. Your family won't care if you do. Home is a place to hang with friends and have playdates and sleepovers. That home feeling happens when your friend just comes over. It's the place to make the best memories. A home is filled. Filled with love, joy, respect, kindness and laughter. But home is different for everybody. To me a home is where you have fun. A house is just a structure. I wish everyone could have a home.
