Meaning of Home

Home is not beams, wood, and bricks. Home is a place where loved ones live together. Home is the sun as it rises and casts it´s light on the barn. Home is the fresh dew on the as we take a morning walk. Home is the smell of bacon and eggs frying in the pan. Home is the feeling of the puppy's soft, velvety hair. Home is the sound of the splitting wood as the ax runs through. Home is the feeling of the chickens brushing my legs as I collect the eggs. Home is the sound of the combine as it harvests our corn. Home is the smell of baking cookies in the oven. Home is the sound of the puppy barking as it chases a rabbit. Home is the smell of homemade soup for lunch. Home is the taste of a glass of lemonade. Home is the sight of a red tailed hawk as it searches for prey. Home is the sound of a big blue jay. Home is the sound of the dinner bell as it calls us in for dinner. Home is the smell of fresh pizza, being set on plates. Home is the sight of the puppy sleeping. Home is the sound of wood burning in the wood stove as we watch a movie. Home is the feeling of my bed as I get in. Home is the feeling of safety, deep within. I wish that every child everywhere could have a safe home. It is terrible to think of kids in unsafe places and on the streets. All of them deserve to have a warm cozy home, just like me.
