What a home means to me

We never realize that how lucky we are to have a home, because many kids of our age do not have one. Home is a place where there’s love, memories, fun. My home is like a part of my family, without it my family is incomplete. When I come back from a vacation trip, I always feel happy to come back I never knew why but now I know, it is because home is the place where I learnt to crawl, walk, talk, read, and write. One day it was a very freezing day outside and I was so happy to have the heaters to keep us warm. And there was a rainy day I was delighted to have a roof. When I look around my home, my home has laughter and fun, my home has the smell of buttery air and the food, my home has the sound of the birds chirping from the backyard, the sound of the Disney and Paramount movies. When you move from one house to another you make new memories. A home is a place where you do not need photo books filled with pictures of your memories because your home is made from memories and your house makes sure you never forget them. A home does not have to be big or fancy. It is also not the things in the home it is the people that you share the home with that makes it a home. There is always some thing going on in the house from the bird chirpings to the ZZs from the sound of the television the elders talking from the fun of the children playing to the kids stomping on the stairs form the squeak of the squirrels to the soft, long grunts of the deer. That is a place we know as home a place where there are memories, fun laughter, and love home that is the place called home.
