HOME

Home means personal space. Space to do everything you need. Space to relax. Space to eat. Space to do things you like. Home means family. Family that trusts you. Family that loves you. Family that makes you feel special. You can confide in family. Family is important. Home means joy. Joy because you have all you need. Joy because you have family. Joy because you have a bed, blankets, furnace, and many other things. Home gives you joy. Home means traditions. Whether it is praying, Friday movie night or anything. Traditions are passed down from generation to generation. Traditions make each family special and unique. Home means comfort. To me comfort means couches, blankets, pillows, pets, fireplace and the list could go on and on. It can also be the comforting presence of family and friends. Comfort is powerful. Home means life. Whether it be friends or family, dog or cat, flowers or non-blooming plants. Life is a very special aspect of home. Life is extremely important. Home means safety. Safety because you have thick walls, family to protect you, a phone to call the police and much more. Safety is important. That is what home means to me.
