What Home Means to Me

What home means to me. Home does not need to be a place it can be a person, it's the thing in your heart where you know you're safe and you don’t need to feel stressed. It's the place where you can be yourself and have no worry about being judged, it's the place of expression. Our house is comfortable and it is safe but it's not the house itself, it’s the people or things that make the house loved and comfortable, without the people in the house taking care and loving it, it’s basically 4 walls, a roof, and a floor. Home is where your feelings are heard and you should have no fear of making mistakes. It's the place where you can learn from your mistakes and have nothing to hide. Home is the place of laughter, happiness, and love. It's the place of sadness and anger, it's the place where your real personality lives, it's where you build memories, it's not always going to be happy memories or in the same location as your old memories, but it's the place to also build new memories. Some people don’t have a roof over their head with the people who care about them. I wanted to write this is so everyone can at least have a shelter to keep them warm in the winter, I couldn’t imagine, even no matter how hard I could ever try I could never imagine what it would be like to have no home, no love, that’s why I wanted to write this, so at least 1 person could have shelter or a home, that would be enough.
