Home

My home has lots and lots of stories, but one changed the home’s life forever. Let’s go to the little town of Cavendish, where a small home is perched in the middle of nature. Acres and acres of land are there to explore. This place is closed off from the rest of the world, with only a small supermarket twenty minutes away. They rely on what they grow, and their animals keep them company and busy with all their needs. It wasn’t always like that, before the home was loved. It had a for sale sign on the lawn for almost a year. One day a car rolled up and a family that wanted to buy the house got out. Suddenly, the house had hope, hope that it would be a home were they would cook in the kitchen and open presents on Christmas day. They were a little skeptical but still bought the home. One month later, the moving trucks arrived, and the house was finally filled with furniture, and it felt happy. Many years later, it is still there, and it is still loved, and everybody is happy. That is what home means to me.
