A Place to Call Home

A house is somewhere you live, and is a place that will always be available to go to. It's a place to call home because you feel a connection with the building where you have spent so much time. It's like a part of you. Some things that I love about my home is that it is unique and not like any other home you see on tv or at your friends house. I love that I have my own room, fresh vegetables from the garden, the pictures on the walls, and eating dinner with my family every night. When I return home after a long day out, I feel very happy and relieved because I am at home where I can relax. I can just sit back on the couch and read a book or listen to my favorite music. My favorite spot to spend time, is the living room. I can watch tv, draw by the fireplace, watch a movie with my family, or play board games on Fridays. Not everybody has a safe home like my family and I. We are very lucky to have a place to call home, a warm place to stay with a roof over our heads.. My home is special because It is just the way that we want it to be. It's unique. It’s special because it’s comfortable and it’s our sanctuary
